Dave Niblock - a member of HAMC Wessex

It is with great sadness that the organisers of the Bulldog Bash announce the death of Dave Niblock, a key member of the organising team, in a motorcycle accident on Monday July 14th. In recent years, Dave, a member of HAMC Wessex and an IT consultant, was responsible for looking after the site licence for the show.

This year he had worked very hard to ensure the event gained its licence for the next ten years in the face of major objections from the police.

Dave was enthusiastic and meticulous in his work on what became an increasingly complex issue and worked closely with Stratford Council and other agencies to ensure the show met ever more rigorous health, safety and other conditions. It is a cruel irony that after playing such a major role in making sure the Bulldog went ahead, Dave will not be able to enjoy the show he believed in and worked so enthusiastically for.

Our thoughts are with his wife and young family and we will work hard to make sure this year’s Bulldog Bash is a fitting tribute to a fine member of HAMC, who will be greatly missed.
