Thousands of revellers descend on Warwickshire, as Bulldog 25 barks into life

Bulldog 25 is revving-up and firing on all cylinders, as thousands of Bikers and music fans streamed through the gates following the opening ceremony at 2pm this afternoon (Thursday 11th), very few visitors were affected by Warwickshire Constabulary’s much reduced police operation. The organisers have welcomed this return to low-key Policing.

Bash organiser Bilbo commented, “I am happy to see the reduction in Police activity for the 25th Anniversary. We don’t have exact figures yet, but it’s fair to say that I have never seen so many bikes queuing at the main gate; we are pleased that so many have chosen to support us in celebrating the 25th year of the Bulldog.”

Upon opening the event, along side his wife Maggie, the Chairman of Stratford District Council Eric Payne addressed the gathered crowds, saying, “It is a pleasure to be here today, as the Bulldog Bash celebrates 25 years on the world map. Personally, I would like to thank the event organisers for their generous support of a number of worthy charities. Now, in the words of Bilbo, it’s time to enjoy the party.”

As night falls over the event, the Bulldog’s brand new sound stage is blasting out tunes from live acts Blizzard of Oz, followed by Jilted Generation and Guns 2 Roses. DJ’s are warming up the decks in the dance tent ready for a big E:VOLVE club night that is sure to get the crowds jumping until the early hours. Ahead of the Main Stage sets tomorrow night from Bad Manners and Status Quo – a spectacle not to be missed.

The Bulldog Bash Custom Show, presented in association with Victory Motorcycles, will open its doors to the public tomorrow (Friday 12th). One of Europe’s largest ride-in custom shows, the Bulldog sets the standard for builders of extreme creations; all of whom are looking forward to the new public vote system, putting the choice of winner in the hands of the Bulldog faithful.

The Bulldog Bash takes place at Shakespeare County Raceway, Nr Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, its non-stop entertainment right through to mid-day on Sunday 14th – Tickets are still available on the gate at £70 for the entire weekend, including camping and live entertainment.
