Visitors to The Bulldog Bash basked in glorious August sunshine as Shakespeare County Raceway blazed with an action packed day of non stop entertainment; which kicked off with yet another world record from Eric Teboul, the conditions on the drag strip were perfect for Eric to open the taps and power his Rocket bike to a tyre blistering 243 MPH in just 5.30 seconds – smashing the record he set just yesterday of 233mph in 5.48 seconds.
Another record fell as Martin Hill flew up the quarter mile in his Fireforce jet funny car, setting a track record of 282 MPH in 5.9 seconds.

A classic Red Devils parachute display wowed festival goers; as six team members jumped in to the event from an altitude of 10,000ft. Trailing smoke to demonstrate their speed and movement, the highly-skilled skydivers reached speeds of up to 120mph, before deploying their parachutes. Once safely under canopy, the team members demonstrated breathtaking, high-speed “Swoop” landings and spectacular “Canopy Formations” – both unique to parachute displays in the UK. The team members joined Hells angels member “RED” to make a very special presentation to well known local councilor Brian Slaughter. Brian (75) received a ceremonial baton, which had been handed between the skydivers on their descent, to acknowledge his work at the show raising money for charity at the unwavering support he has shown for the Bulldog Bash.
