The all new Area81 rock club at the Bulldog Bash is a parallel club to the underground Area81 rock club situated in Bristol, which is dedicated to showcasing mostly unsigned bands of all genre's of rock music. This being so, it was only natural that we wanted to do the same at the Bulldog Bash, so we got the same people that run Area81 rock club in Bristol to put together a blistering line-up of (unsigned) rock bands to showcase on there own stage, and here you have it AREA81 ROCK CLUB!

BULLDOG BASH 2008 FRIDAY AREA81 ROCK CLUB SET TIMES
The current line up firmly established in late 2004, building on the foundation set by previous members. New Generation Superstars immediately set about creating a style of music they loved and wanted to hear, whilst providing an alternative to the usual generic banner of rock music. New Generation Superstars captured a sound that dragged rock n' roll firmly into the 21st Century, picking up a loyal fan base along the way.
Based in Swansea, South Wales, The Buffalo Kings have been hard at work. With the final line-up established late 2005 the band hit the road, and hit it hard with their own potent blend of hard rock and whiskey laden power grooves.
Formed in the scuzzy neon hell hole of st clears quite a long time ago..... Love Rocket play kicking high energy Rock n' Roll, sick to death of shoe gazing miserableists grumbling into microphones. Fired up on a diet of scandiavian rock music(ala Backyard Babies, Hellacopters et al) and an insatiable party appetite we set about creating the blissful cacophony that is Love Rocket! Enjoy...
Fury UK are a power trio from Manchester, UK that have been making a name for themselves since their debut album, MY TOMMORROW, was released in 2005. The band has been getting a lot of attention from the European press for their blend of NWOBHM, Hard Rock, and Heavy Metal with a touch of Punk. Comparisons to early Iron Maiden and AC/DC are definitely on point.
Get Vegas are a breath of fresh air to the scene. They are four young guys who rock like they mean it. The band's influences are varied from classic rock acts like Thin Lizzy, Deep Purple, Free and Rush, to the more contemporary bands like Silvertide, The Datsuns and Black Rebel Motorcycle Company. With this in mind Get Vegas still retain their individuality with a sound that is very much in the vane of Girl with the vocals of Jonny Cole, who himself looks like a young Lou Gramm.
GRIPSHIFT are a 5 piece female fronted metal band. For the last few years the ‘Metal / Rock’ scene has been very much underground, especially in England where metal used to be the genre of choice. Now with more and more metal and Rock bands reaching into chart status, maybe Gripshift can bring back the element that has been missing of late…. Powerful
BLANCO DIABLO is everything the band's name suggests and even some things it doesnt. This is a band on a mission and not one of those panty-waist, boy band evil missions either - this is dangerous rock & roll that engages the brain as well as the bones. The band's timeless rock songs have an edge all their own, honed with a relentlessly intense musical middle finger thrust at double-talking politicos that will define a genre, not mimic one.
Formed in June 2005 from the ashes of previously established bands, ...The Culprit have wasted no time imprinting their mark on the British live scene with an explosive and professional stage show.
