Conceived on the back of a Harley in the Mid 80's, the show roared into life on a fateful August day in 1987. Since then we have never looked back, the show going from strength to strength, growing as nobody ever imagined it would, with more and more attractions added every year.

It would have been easy to have just concentrated on the Bands, and let the dragstrip dwindle, but hey, we're bikers, that's what makes the Bulldog what it is, it's run by people who understand and love our way of life.
So instead of falling by the wayside, the dragstrip has grown along with the rest of the show, and is most definitely still the main focus, the thing that everything else revolves round.

With the amazing variety of Top Fuel Cars and Bikes, Rocket Bikes, Jet Cars, Jet Karts, Jet Lorries, Stunt Riders and other Special Attractions, the Run What Ya Brung element of the strip could have easily been eliminated from the proceedings - it's hard to strike a balance between the two, but Run What Ya Brung is where we came from, and not being the kind of people to forget our roots, it is still the mainstay of the Drag Strip.

All credit to the guys who organise the strip, which incidentally happens to be one of the best racing surfaces in Europe, for the fabulous and well balanced job they do - Plenty of excitement, thrills and spills, Loads of RWYB, and regular shows with the Pro and Demo Racers.

The Run What Ya Brung starts Friday, Saturday, & Sunday at 8:30AM
